Steward's Report
Harley Ryder was quick to begin. Solar Rock was slow to begin.
Kinimakatka and Oriental Onyx collided approaching the first turn. Kinimakatka, Throssell Bale, Oriental Onyx, Solar Victory and Vance Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Kinimakatka and Solar Victory causing Kinimakatka to tail off.
Kinimakatka underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toe and a dislocated right hind toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
