Steward's Report
Miracle Belle– Late scratching at 10:53am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left foreleg deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Hailey Lainey was quick to begin.
Mrs. Watson, Knight's Cross and Speedy Muffin collided soon after the start checking Knight's Cross. Mrs. Watson and Speedy Muffin collided multiple times in the back straight. Easton Lad checked off Doonside Shadow on the first turn causing Easton Lad to faulter on the first turn checking Madam Starface and Mrs. Watson. Speedy Muffin checked off Knight's Cross in the home straight.
Easton Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg carpal sprain wrist and a right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Peach the trainer of Easton Lad regarding reason for concerns with performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Peach to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Easton Lad in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
