Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Two Up Tommy, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Attitude was quick to begin. Fasion Icon was slow to begin. Pandora's Hope was very slow to begin (4L).
Crystal Opal and Silver Compass collided soon after the start. Two Up Tommy and Silver Compass collided approaching the first turn. Two Up Tommy and Crystal Opal collided on the first turn. Two Up Tommy checked off Silver Compass approaching the home turn. Two Up Tommy and Silver Compass raced wide entering the home straight. Pandora's Hope lost ground throughout the event and took no competitive part.
Pandora's Hope underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9 and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Neil Mason, the trainer of Pandora's Hope regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Pandora's Hope must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
