All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 22.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.5 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Cam's Girl was quick to begin. Dennis Delight was slow to begin. Lights Strike and Cool Whip were very slow to begin (3L).

Dennis Delight and Lights Strike collided on the first turn. Sartana and Lights Strike collided approaching the home turn. Cawbourne Marto and Lights Strike collided in the home straight.

Aston Rafael – New declared weight of 35.8 kg, last raced at 34.5 kg.

Kraken Freckles and Big Boy Duke collided soon after the start.

Derry Girl, Inside Out, Aston Rafael and Madison Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Derry Girl, Inside Out, Aston Rafael and Brightly Staring.

Aston Rafael underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and spike wounds to the left hind paws. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Stimulation.

Zipping Dudley and Ava's Journey were slow to begin.

Moyarra Minstrel, Villanova and Afro Puff collided soon after the start. All Inn Pearl, Red Frog, Moyarra Minstrel and Afro Puff collided approaching the first turn checking Red Frog, Moyarra Minstrel, Afro Puff, Villanova and Zipping Dudley. All Inn Pearl and Stimulation collided on the first turn. Moyarra Minstel and Afro Puff collided on the first turn. Moyarra Minstrel and Villanova collided in the home straight.

The Heat Policy was dispersed following the running of this event.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Ms. Stacey Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Pocket Ruby – New declared weight of 23.2 kg, last raced at 24.4 kg.

Red Raven and Chuck Attack collided soon after the start. Mountain Stew, Red Raven and Chuck Attack collided on the first turn checking Red Raven. Mountain Stew galloped on Chuck Attack on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Ombra and Mountain Stew raced wide entering the home straight.

The Judge inadvertently semaphored the incorrect placings 8-7-9, this was corrected to 6-8-7-9 prior to the all clear being given.

Affair Fantasy, Zipping Winslet and Hannah's Tiger collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the first turn. Hone Your Skills and Shaggy Rufus collided on the first turn. Champ Duran checked off Hone Your Skills approaching the home turn and collided with Zipping Winslet.

A post-race sample was taken from Hone Your Skills - winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Two Up Tommy, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Attitude was quick to begin. Fasion Icon was slow to begin. Pandora's Hope was very slow to begin (4L).

Crystal Opal and Silver Compass collided soon after the start. Two Up Tommy and Silver Compass collided approaching the first turn. Two Up Tommy and Crystal Opal collided on the first turn. Two Up Tommy checked off Silver Compass approaching the home turn. Two Up Tommy and Silver Compass raced wide entering the home straight. Pandora's Hope lost ground throughout the event and took no competitive part.

Pandora's Hope underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9 and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Neil Mason, the trainer of Pandora's Hope regarding its performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Pandora's Hope must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes to hold for Hastings thoroughbreds.

Emmett's Regret was slow to begin.

Dewanna Success and Fab Nine collided soon after the start. Rapid Royale checked off Dark Krystal approaching the first turn checking Go Forward Tink, Lenny's Jagger, Fab Nine and Emmett's Regret. Go Forward Tink and Fab Nine collided approaching the home turn. Emmett's regret visibly eased in the home straight and pulled up. 

Emmett's Regret underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left thigh and triangle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. Jye Formosa regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Emmett's Regret was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Emmett's Regret was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Iris was slow to begin.

La La Nebraska and Tat Panda collided soon after the start. Zipping Iris and La La Nebraska collided on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Princess Milne - winner of the event.

Little Winnie – New declared weight of 26.2 kg, last raced at 27.8 kg.

Vinny Dewalt and Revved Up Sal collided soon after the start. Little Winnie and Kraken Scar collided on the first turn. Kraken Scar and Vinny Dewalt collided approaching the home turn. Kraken Scar checked off Vinny Dewalt entering the home straight.

Revved Up Sal underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Flying Bella, Meatball Soup and Dundas Houdini collided soon after the start. Diva Dot checked off Laxman approaching the first turn. Meatball Soup checked of Aston Garner on the first turn. Dundas Houdini checked off Flying Bella approaching the home turn. Diva Dot raced wide entering the home straight. Flying Bella and Aston Garner collided entering the home straight. Aston Garner checked off Flying Bella in the home straight.
