Cyber Crime was quick to begin.
Resse's Girl and Downstream collided soon after the start checking Downstream. Big Beaver, Three Bears and Duck Duck Dash collided soon after the start checking Three Bears. Resse's Girl checked off Big Beaver on the first turn checking Iceni Riot. Big Beaver checked off Cyber Crime on the home turn. Downstream and Duck Duck Dash collided on the home turn. Aztec Blaze crossed out entering the home straight checking Three Bears.
Resse's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident after the finishing line and was found to have a right hindleg metatarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
