Coconut Kingston checked off Jake Scar soon after the start. Jake Scar and Wrote The Script collided on the first turn. Mr. Fitty brushed the running rail on the first turn. Thybulle Bale checked off Wrote The Script approaching the home turn checking Idaho Evie and Jake Scar, Jake Scar raced wide as a result. Idaho Evie and Mr. Fitty collided approaching the home turn. Mr. Fitty gallloped on Idaho Evie on the home turn. Coconut Kingston raced wide entering the home straight

Dusty Bourbski was quick to begin. Unleash The Fun, Claretown Ryan and As Good As were slow to begin.

Unleash The Fun visibly eased and pulled up soon after the start.

Unleash The Fun underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr John Barbara, the Trainer of Unleash The Fun, declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Barbara regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Unleash The Fun was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Barbara pleaded guilty to the charge, Unleash The Fun was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Reiko Clooney and Fancy Like were slow to begin. 

Winlock Crewe and Dr. Matrix collided soon after the start. Jedi Jack checked off Reiko Clooney on the first turn. Reiko Clooney checked off I'm Indigo.

Kick It Home was quick to begin. Seebohm Bale, Master Molloy and Winnington Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Master Molloy contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Go Gigi Go checked off Good Girl Gracie on the first turn checking Winnington Bale. Seebohm Bale and Go Gigi Go collided entering the home straight. Winnington Bale checked off Mini Dimmy in the home straight. 

Master Molloy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg carpal sprain and a laceration to the achilles tendon . A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Cyber Crime was quick to begin.

Resse's Girl and Downstream collided soon after the start checking Downstream. Big Beaver, Three Bears and Duck Duck Dash collided soon after the start checking Three Bears. Resse's Girl checked off Big Beaver on the first turn checking Iceni Riot. Big Beaver checked off Cyber Crime on the home turn. Downstream and Duck Duck Dash collided on the home turn. Aztec Blaze crossed out entering the home straight checking Three Bears.

Resse's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident after the finishing line and was found to have a right hindleg metatarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Fabriola Zero and She's So Kind collided approaching the first turn. Astro Boy and My Mate Eddie collided on the first turn checking My Mate Eddie. Shima Pearl checked off Alfie Alligator on the first turn. Alfie Alligator and Kraken Pearler collided approaching the winning post. 

My Mate Eddie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Riverdale Bonnie was very slow to begin (3L).

Zylon Bale and Blazing Penny collided soon after the start. Man Cave and Who Did That collided approaching the first turn. Who Did That contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Man Cave and Blazing Penny collided on the first turn. Blazing Penny checked off Man Cave approaching the home turn. Man Cave and Love Heart collided on the home turn. Riverdale Bonnie crossed out entering the home straight. Zipping Scorcher checked off Gunai Outlaw in the home straight. Blazing Penny, Man Cave and Love Heart collided in the home straight checking Blazing Penny. 

Who Did That underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor tail injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Quintana Bale was slow to begin.

Cornish Pixie, Conroy and Suvla Bay collided approaching the first turn. Waldemar Bale and Zipping Wreck collided on the first turn. Zipping Wreck checked off Conroy approaching the home turn. Uforo Bale checked off Conroy on the home turn and collided with Zipping Wreck.

Waldemar Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg shoulder injury and a left hindleg hip injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Mighty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
