All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on 01.02.22.

Jean Crisp and Lektra Asha collided soon after the start. Jean Crisp, Lektra Asha and Fibularis collided approaching the first turn. Fibularis and Oh Yeah Alright collided on the first turn causing Fibularis, Oh Yeah Alright and Vans Turbo to collide checking all greyhounds. High Card Riot and Winkcup Bale collided approaching the home turn. Lektra Asha and Fibularis collided on the home turn. Fibularis checked off Oh Yeah Alright approaching the winning post.

Sonny Cabang – Late scratching at 6.03pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr G Marshman was fined $100. Sonny Cabang underwent a kennelling veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

 Aston Khan and Zella Bale were quick to begin. Consumption and Surf To Burn were slow to begin.

An out of competition sample was taken from Black Martini on 17.09.2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Fascinate Aussie and Struck Gold collided approaching the first turn. Zambora Jay, Charlott's Blaze, Chasing Jimmy and Black Martini collided on the first turn checking Chasing Jimmy and Struck Gold. Zambora Jay and Charlott's Blaze collided approaching the home turn checking Zambora Jay, Chasing Jimmy and Struck Gold. Struck Gold checked off Chasing Jimmy on the home turn causing Chasing Jimmy to race wide and collide with Zambora Jay. Charlott's Blaze and Fascinate Aussie collided entering the home straight.

Zara's Princess and Lyrical Lad collided soon after the start. Don't Argue Love, Capra, Zara's Princess and Lyrical Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Capra causing Ned's Reward and Capra to collide. Don't Argue Love checked off Zara's Princess on the first turn. Capra and Ned's Reward collided on the first turn. Graphic Design checked off  Don't Argue Love approaching the home turn. Capra checked off Graphic Design approaching the home turn. Joffa's Princess and Graphic Design collided on the home turn.

Moth Rocks, Envy To Burn and Nitro Bale were quick to begin.

It's A Brew and Beatrix Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Beatrix Bale. Langfield Bale checked off Nitro Bale approaching the home turn. 

Aston Santana underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident entering the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Blazing Nenna– Late scratching at 5.31pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an abraded front right paw.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Sinful Angel was quick to begin. Boom Out was slow to begin.

Rocket Boy and Markus Rhode collided on the first turn checking Markus Rhode causing Boom Out and Markus Rhode to collide. Boom Out and Markus Rhode collided on the home turn. Sinful Angel and Hill Top Jonah collided entering the home straight.

This event was delayed by one minute due to operational issues.

Aston Merit was quick to begin. Nyah Nyah Flyer was slow to begin.

Aston Lamont and Hannele Bale collided soon after the start. Ephemeral faulted approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Nyah Nyah Flyer and Ephemeral collided on the first turn. Runaway Miss and Raichu collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Nyah Nyah Flyer. 

Ephemeral underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr Harrison Goss, the representative of Ephemeral regarding its performance approaching the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Ephemeral must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from In Lights upon arrival at the course.

Destini Bonfire and Fearless Rory were quick to begin.

Xerxes Bale went up with the lids. Extravagance and Aston Zulu collided approaching the first turn. Extravagance checked off In Lights approaching the first turn causing Extravagance and Xerxes bale to collide checking Extravagance. Aston Zulu crossed to the rail in the home straight checking In Lights.

Our Ando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg split webbling. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Frankie, Hey Vain Elaine and Molly Byrnes collided approaching the first turn checking Hey Vain Elaine and Molly Byrnes. Send It Socks and Naomi Butterfly collided on the first turn checking Send It Socks causing Send It Socks to lose ground. Hey Vain Elaine checked off Saint Tess approaching the home turn. Saint Tess and Turn To Fab collided approaching the home turn. 

Turn To Fab underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg tarsal fracture/dislocation hock injury. Turn To Fab was humanely euthanased.
