Steward's Report
Dancing Cassie was quick to begin. About Bob was slow to begin. Miss Demonica and Major Winston collided approaching the first turn. Junket Jarrod and Miss Demonica collided on the first turn. Dancing Cassie and Dr. Archer collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Dancing Cassie and Dr. Archer collided approaching the winning post.
Dancing Cassie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on a left front toe and left metatarsal. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Clifton regarding the racing manners of Dancing Cassie on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Clifton, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
