Steward's Report
Skinny Legend and Predator were quick to begin. Zipping Margo was slow to begin.
Taciana, Predator and Skinny Legend collided approaching the first turn causing Skinny Legend to cross out and pull up. Predator checked off Wilson's way on the first turn. Predator and Taciana collided in the back straight and again entering the home straight.
Skinny Legend underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Steven Curtain, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Skinny Legend was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Curtain pleaded guilty to the charge, Skinny Legend was found guilty and suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
