Mussa Jack crossed in soon after the start. Mt. View Shark and Star Burner collided soon after the start. Mt. View Shark and Leeky Lee collided on the first turn. Mussa Jack and Star Burner collided on the first turn; severely checking Mt. View Shark, Mussa Jack and Star Burner. Kalbarri and Way To Important collided approaching the second turn. Way To Important and Kalbarri collided entering the home straight, checking Kalbarri.

Kalbarri underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left foreleg torn nail injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
