Steward's Report
Eileen Jay and Trending Wave collided approaching the first turn checking Trending Wave. Keep A Bit, Where's Lesley and Call Me Jade collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Keep A Bit, Where's Lesley, Allegra Bliss and Call Me Jade collided approaching the home turn checking Allegra Bliss and Call Me Jade. Allegra Bliss turned it's head outwards and marred Call Me Jade approaching the winning post checking Call Me Jade.
Allegra Bliss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Steven Hetherton, the trainer of Allegra Bliss regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Allegra Bliss was charged with marring. Mr. Hetherton pleaded guilty to the charge, Allegra Bliss was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at Bendigo and (all tracks) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
