Alpine Blaze was quick to begin. Tiger Blurton was slow to begin.
Stan's Hope and Friesian Flyer collided soon after the start. Brilliant Brian and Happy Hannah collided soon after the start. Friesian Flyer, Annie My Mate and Frothy's Friday collided on the first turn, checking Brilliant Brian. Stan's Hope checked off Friesian Flyer and collied with Brilliant Brian in the back straight. Happy Hannah and Annie My Mate collided on the home turn.
