Dewana Fair Go – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
Colossal Fire was slow to begin.
Dewana Fair Go, Toyed and Big Boy Paddy collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Toyed crossed out checking Rio Hustler at the 250m mark.
Due to a technical malfunction with the timing sensor, the semaphore board briefly displayed the incorrect win time for this event as 19.13; the time was amended to the official win time of 19.48 as the placings were semaphored.
