All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.

Raw Finesse was slow to begin.

Next Teardrop and Tony Tells Tales collided soon after the start. Rapid Oxidation, Blue Lagoon and Almighty Mack collided soon after the start checking Blue Lagoon. Rapid Oxidation and Almighty Mack collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Rapid Oxidation checked off Almighty Mack at the 200m mark. Tony Tells Tales and Almighty Mack collided at the 125m mark. Raw Finesse checked off Tony Tells Tales approaching the 100m mark. Blue Lagoon checked off King Chad at the 50m mark.

Charlotte Tulip faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground.

Charlotte Tulip underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ivy's Bobby and Scott Hue collided approaching the 200m mark. Ivy's Bobby and Scott Hue collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark.

Scorching Sun, Amlin Frozen and Mr. Bob were quick to begin.

Amlin Frozen and Sensational collided soon after the start checking Sensational. Scorching Sun, Blair's Tulip and Amlin Frozen collided soon after the strart checking Blair's Tulip and Amlin Frozen. Amlin Frozen and Rear View Mirror collided approaching the 250m mark.

Addie Attitude and Smart As Jack were slow to begin.

Addie Attitude crossed out approaching the 250m mark. American Missile checked off Knuckle Buster at the 250m mark. Smart As Jack and Patricia Maureen collided at the 250m mark and again approaching the 200m mark checking Patricia Maureen.

Dewana Fair Go – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Colossal Fire was slow to begin.

Dewana Fair Go, Toyed and Big Boy Paddy collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Toyed crossed out checking Rio Hustler at the 250m mark.

This event was rescheduled to 1:13pm.

Ted Do and Paint Peeler were slow to begin.

Made Me Blind checked off Coolant approaching the 250m mark. Ted Do, Paint Peeler and Mac Zephyr collided at the 200m mark checking Mac Zephyr.

How High Austin was slow to begin.

Jeza You Beauty crossed out soon after the start checking How High Austin and Ricky Racoon. Ricky Racoon and Kuta Cowboy collided approaching the 300m mark. Jeza You Beauty, How High Austin and Kuta Cowboy collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking all three greyhounds. Ricky Racoon looked in at the 200m mark. Jeza You Beauty and How High Austin collided approaching the 150m mark checking both greyhounds. Jeza You Beauty, How High Austin and Kuta Cowboy collided approaching the 100m mark checking Jeza You Beaty and How High Austin. Ricky Racoon crossed out, visibly eased and collided with Moonshine Miss from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post.

Ricky Racoon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple abrasions on both hind legs, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Colin Baker regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Ricky Racoon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Baker pleaded guilty to the charge, Ricky Racoon was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ally Melba, Big John Mac and Always Cousins were slow to begin.

Big John Mac and Super Sparkle collided soon after the start. Always Cousins crossed out soon after the start. Big John Mac, Super Sparkle and Still Got Time collided approaching the 200m mark checking Big John Mac and Still Got Time. Bold Voyager and Sassenach collided approaching the 200m mark and again at the 200m mark. Dash Home crossed to the rails at the 200m mark checking Super Sparkle, Ally Melba, Sassenach and Bold Voyager. Big John Mac and Super Sparkle collided several times from the 150m mark to approaching the 50m mark. Bold Voyager and Big John Mac collided approaching the 50m mark. Big John Mac checked off Super Sparkle at the 50m mark.

Always Cousins – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
