Steward's Report
All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) kennel attendant, Courtney Ryan did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Big Flatty was slow to begin. Worldwide stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.
Little Jesa, Cam's Girl and Aviana Bale collided soon after the start. She's The One, Little Jesa, Cam's Girl and Aviana Bale collided at the 250m mark checking Worldwide and Little Jesa. Big Flatty crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. She's The One and Cam's Girl collided approaching the 100m mark checking She's The One.
Little Jesa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Donald McDonald, the trainer of Big Flatty as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr McDonald were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
