All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.

Mrs. L. Delbridge was issued with a warning in accordance with GAR 31(1) regarding kennelling greyhounds after the appointed closing time. As a result, the kennels closed at 6:38pm.

Irish Hope was quick to begin.  Winlock At Large and Aston Xavier were slow to begin. 

Katari Night, Black Imani, Tinker Crest and Fish Tog Giblet collided approaching the first turn, checking Katari Night, Black Imani and Tinker Crest.  Katari Night and Black Imani collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds which caused them both to race wide and lose ground as a result.  Winlock At Large checked off Kazoo Giblet on the first turn.  Fish Tog Giblet checked off Winlock At Large on the home turn.  Irish Hope and Tinker Crest collided several times in the home straight, checking Tinker Crest. 

Katari Night underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Princess Barcia and Five Putt Cal were quick to begin. 

Shining Gem and Explosive Yaala collided soon after the start.

Tinker Warrior was slow to begin.  

Acacia Dream, Three Bears, Rahim Bale and Rothford collided soon after the start, checking Three Bears and Rahim Bale.  Rahim Bale galloped on the heels of Cool Kat on the first turn causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Three Bears checked off Blue Gal approaching the home turn.  Snow Angel checked off Tinker Warrior in the home straight. 

Midday Snooze was slow to begin.  

Venomous Yaala, Midday Snooze and Arby's Lucy collided soon after the start, checking Midday Snooze.  Midday Snooze and Arby's Lucy collided on the first turn, checking Midday Snooze.  Tom's Express, Snow Onyx and Venomous Yaala collided on the first turn, checking Snow Onyx and Venomous Yaala.  Snow Onyx and Venomous Yaala collided entering the back straight, checking Snow Onyx.

Mt. View Audrey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Javier Bale was quick to begin.  

Romeo Bale and Alumni collided approaching the first turn, checking Romeo Bale.  Javier Bale, Callum Ari and Blazing Nenna collided on the first turn, checking Javier Bale, Callum Ari, Fortuna Bale and Hoffa.  Javier Bale and Callum Ari collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

She's So Lovable was quick to begin.  Iceni Riot was very slow to begin {4L}. 

In My Pocket crossed to the running rail on the first turn, checking Spearhead Joe. 

Stewards spoke with Ms. S. Gray, trainer of Iceni Riot, regarding the greyhound's slow start to the event. After reviewing the race footage and hearing evidence from Ms. Gray, stewards advised that the greyhound would be monitored closely in future events.
