Stewards queried trainer Ms K. Houlahan regarding the bona fides of the scratching of Henessey Venom and Line Trike from this event. Stewards listened to evidence presented by the trainer and were satisifed with the explanation put forward. Ms K. Houlahan further indicated that both injured greyhounds scratched from this event may be retired from racing.
A pre-race sample was taken from Layback Cruiser.
Rave On and Layback Cruiser collided on the first turn, checking Rave On. Black Kruger and Rave On collided approaching the winning post.
