All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of Mr D. Kerr who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track. The kennels closed at 6.38pm.

Gypsy Seymour was slow to begin.

Valeska Bale, Kanji Height and Brecken Bale collided soon after the start, checking Valeska Bale and Brecken Bale. Zippy Audi and Kanji Length collided approaching the first turn. Zippy Audi checked off Zippy Wiesman on the first turn, checking Kanji Height. Zippy Wiesman and Brecken Bale collided entering the home straight. Ozark Bale checked off Reloaded soon after the start. Reloaded crossed to the running rail approaching the first turn, colliding with Calix Bale, Indy Ghost, Vianna Bale and Fabriola Duran, checking Vianna Bale as a result. Ozark Bale and Peponi Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Bolt and Indy Juno collided approaching the first turn, checking Indy Juno. Lights Action crossed to the ruuning rail on the first turn, checking Shima Bolt, Don't Argue Love and Spring Bjorn. Magnis Bale raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Crackerjack Zave and Boom Out collided soon after the start. Boom Out checked off Taylor's Jewel approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Zav checked off Boom Out on the first turn. Nice And Easy and Taylor's Jewel collided on the first turn, checking Boom Out. Crackerjack Zave and Boom Out collided approaching the home turn. 

Wonderful World, Double Tactic and Spring Cobra were quick to begin. 

My Golden Eagle, Untapped and Bit Twisted collided approaching the first turn, checking Bit Twisted. Yeah Easy and Double Tactic collided approaching the second turn, checking Double Tactic. Aratuza Bale was quick to begin. 

Tig, Limiting, Zipping Caviar and Ollie collided on the first turn, checking Tig, Limiting and Zipping Caviar and causing Limiting to contact the running rail. Family Trust checked off Disco Riot in the back straight. Family Trust and Disco Riot collided approaching the winning post. 

Limiting underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion plantar left hind paw. No stand stand down period was imposed.

Bissaka Spider crossed to the running rail soon after the start, checking Saint Jett, Great Scout and Don't Get Lippy and causing Great Scout to fall. Exclusively Mine checked off Belt Up Dusty approaching the first turn. Exclusively Mine and Currawong collided on the first turn. 

Great Scout underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Hook Along Book was quick to begin.

Lavish Diamond, Spring Hondo, Go Wheels and Oliver Bale collided soon after the start. Hook Along Book and Sagacious collided on the first turn, checking Hook Along Book. Javen Bale and Lavish Diamond collided on the first turn, checking Lavish Diamond. Javen Bale, Hook Along Book and Oliver Bale collided approaching the home turn. Stewards queried trainer Ms K. Houlahan regarding the bona fides of the scratching of Henessey Venom and Line Trike from this event. Stewards listened to evidence presented by the trainer and were satisifed with the explanation put forward. Ms K. Houlahan further indicated that both injured greyhounds scratched from this event may be retired from racing.
