Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.
The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of Mr D. Kerr who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track. The kennels closed at 6.38pm.
Gypsy Seymour was slow to begin.
Cindy Fuso and Fabriola Bauer collided soon after the start. Andromeda Tonks and Kanji Kilo collided soon after the start. Gypsy Seymour and Andromeda Tonks collided approaching the first turn. Cormac Mclaggen and Andromeda Tonks collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight. Kanji Kilo and Cindy Fuso collided in the home straight.
Andromeda Tonks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Gypsy Toowoomba - the winner of the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Cormac Mclaggen - unplaced in the event.
