All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting and catching greyhounds. 

Club staff advised that the track received a medium harrow on Sunday 4 July 2021.

Call Me Buddy, Urban Legend and Head Bouncer were slow to begin. Quiz Pop checked off Mad Bailey on the first turn checking Call Me Buddy, Urban Legend and Head Bouncer and severely checking Quiz Pop causing it to fall. Mad Bailey visibly eased and turned it's head outwards entering the back straight severely checking Inky's Fireball. Mad Bailey visibly eased and turned it;s head outwards approaching the second turn checking Inky's Fireball. Head Bouncer galloped on the heels of Urban Legend on the home turn checking Call Me Buddy, Urban Legend and Head Bouncer. Mad Bailey marred Inky's Fireball in the home straight.

Quiz Pop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mad Bailey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Nathan McKay regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the back straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Mad Bailey was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. McKay pleaded guilty to the charge, Mad Bailey was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bolt Hard was slow to begin.

Royal Rufus checked off My Annabelle soon after the start. Call Me Lucy, Bell Topper and My Annabelle collided on the first turn. Bolt Hard checked off Call me Lucy on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Palmer River - winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Happy Dance.

Johnny Fatboy was slow to begin.

McIvor Jill checked off Rival Wiggy soon after the start. Johnny Fatboy and Rival Wiggy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. McIvor Jill and Vaughn collided on the home turn. Glenore Lass, Asto Sceptre and Happy Dance raced wide entering the home straight.

Eileen Jay, Keep A Bit and Big Bash Jess collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Ava's Prediction and Princess Deb collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Eileen Jay checked off Ava's Prediction approaching the winning post.

Keep A Bit underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Elaine Cartechini regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Big Bash Jess. After taking into account that Ms. Cartechini is new ito handling greyhounds no action was taken other than to monitor her handling in the future.

Avery Charm checked off Aztec Blaze on the first turn checking Nunniong Bear. Aztec Blaze and All Inn Chester collided in the home straight.

Stan's Hope and Indigo Indy collided soon after the start. Daisy Hill Lad checked off Aston Remi on the first turn. Stan's Hope checked off Daisy Hill Lad entering the home straight.

Chasing Honey and Kraken Shimmer collided on the first turn. Hey Vain Elaine and Dundas Houdini collided approaching the winning post.

Hook Along Pippa checked off Chill Out Webby soon after the start. I'm Not Budging checked off Chill Out Webby on the first turn.

I'm Not Budging underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a left rear toe fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Meehan Lochie and Boom Buster collided soon after the start. Jumping Jack checked off Big Fuss on the first turn. Bakali George checked off Wheelin' In on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Way Up North.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kraken Storm.

Kraken Storn checked off Proven Blazer soon after the start. Resurrection and Sugar Spice collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lektra Loopy, Meehan Ziggy and Solar Tiny collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Lektra Loopy - winner of the event.

Rhymes Valley, Emergency and Chloe Exotic collided on the first turn. King Brown and Rhymes Valley collided entering the home straight. King Brown galloped on the heels of Hasta Manana on the home turn.

Hasta Manana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Sizzlin' Sanchez - winner of the event.

Mizuki Rose underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

Double Up was slow to begin.

Mizuki Rose checked off Midnight Fussed on the first turn. Double Up checked off Quirky Phoebe approaching the home turn. Double Up and Midnight Fussed collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Midnight Fussed – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
