All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.

Quinnley Bale and She's The One were quick to begin.  Pat May Joy and Hillbilly Fire were slow to begin.  

Flying Hercules and Darley Lass collided soon after the start.  Down To Business and Hillbilly Fire collided approaching the first turn.  Darley Lass and Down To Business collided approaching the first turn.  Pat May Joy and Darley Lass collided on the first turn.  She's The One shifted out and raced wide on the home turn.

Stella's Memory and Enter The Grouch were quick to begin.  Miss Molly May and Drop The Hammer were slow to begin. 

Stella's Memory, Miss Molly May, Joyous Spirit and Enter The Grouch collided soon after the start, checking Joyous Spirit.  Stella's Memory and Enter The Grouch collided approaching the first turn.  Stella's Memory and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn, checking Joyous Spirit.  Joyous Spirit contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Enter The Grouch, Drop The Hammer and Mr. Ten Percent collided on the first turn.  Joyous Spirit and Enter The Grouch collided on the home turn.  Joyous Spirit marred Enter The Grouch in the home straight resulting in both greyhounds tailing off. 

Joyous Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to representative Mr. K Coleman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1)  Joyous Spirit was charged with marring.  Mr. K Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Joyous Spirit was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Silver Harp was slow to begin. 

Rock You Queen and Silver Harp collided soon after the start.  Cairnlea Winnie and Electro Guru collided approaching the first turn.  Pandora's Star and Rock You Queen collided on the first turn, checking Pandora's Star, Rock You Queen and Silver Harp.  Pyrenees Pegasus and Saniyah Bale collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Blackpool Alfie, Fernando's Flare and Miss Winks were quick to begin.  Work Zone was slow to begin. 

Steve's Uggboot and Blue Yaala collided soon after the start.  Miss Winks and Blue Yaala collided approaching the first turn.  Blackpool Alfie checked off Fernando's Flare and collided with Steve's Uggboot on the first turn.  Blackpool Alfie and Miss Winks collided approaching the home turn.  Fernando's Flare and Miss Winks collided approaching the winning post.

Kanga Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. S. Coulson regarding the greyhound performing below market expectation. Mr Coulson explained that the greyhound started shorter in the market than it ought to and that the greyhound races better when leading. Mr Coulson added that he expected the greyhound to place if it was able to lead the event.  

Kamara Bale checked off Not Arandt soon after the start.  Innocent Gem checked off Cullquin Freya in the back straight.  Cullquin Freya and Venomous Yaala collided approaching the first turn, checking Venomous Yaala, Innocent Gem and Kamara Bale. 

A post-race sample was taken from Loves The Surf - the winner of the event.

Nova To Burn was slow to begin. 

Uringa checked off Running The Wind soon after the start.  Nova To Burn shifted out approaching the home turn and collided with Aston Roxy. 

Nova To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr K Goodwin regarding the racing manners of Nova To Burn approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Goodwin, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.

El Senor Verde was slow to begin. 

Lonesome Star checked off Shim's Heart on the first turn and collided with phoenix Flight. 

Och Eye Mum underwent a post-race veterinary examination by trainer's request and was found to have split webbing to the right foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Sadie Rose was slow to begin. 

Enid's Angel and Sadie Rose collided soon after the start, checking Enid's Angel.  Zipping Celeste checked off Twisted Bliss approaching the home turn.  Sadie Rose checked off Sloane The Crowon the home turn.

Weightman regarding the racing manners of Twisted Bliss in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Weightman, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. 

Blue Magic Opal and Euchre John were slow to begin.  Heads Or Tails was very slow to begin {3L}. 

Darley Dynamo checked off Crazy Old Fool on the first turn.  Pronator checked off Crazy Old Fool entering the home straight. 

Cool Story Bro checked off Madame Pookie soon after the start.  Blackpool Marvel, Rockstar Harley, Madame Pookie and Pyrenees Spirit collided approaching the first turn, checking all four runners. Blackpool Marvel and Pyrenees Spirit collided approaching the home turn.
