Steward's Report
Cheetah Icon was slow to begin. Hasten Hilda and Crystal Rocks collided approaching the first turn. Little Angel brushes the running rail on the first turn. Real Talent raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Twilight Scar turned it's head inwards and marred Crystal Rocks in the home straight.
Twilight Scar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a small spike wound to the left hock. No stand down was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Sean Vantaarling the handler of Twilight Scar regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Twilight Scar was charged with marring. Mr. Vantaarling pleaded guilty to the charge, Twilight Scar was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
