Steward's Report
Lily Jane – Late scratching at 6.12pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left calf muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Starship Venus; a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Don‘t Try Me was slow to begin. Bomber Blitz and Don’t Try Me collided soon after the start. Inga Meg and Raw Panic collided soon after the start. Blue Sky Limit and Pacific Rock collided approaching the first turn. Pacific Rock was checked off Inga Meg on the first turn. Blue Sky Limit and Bomber Blitz collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Starship Venus was checked off Raw Panic on the home turn.
A post race sample was taken from Raw Panic - winner of the event.
