All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter (Miss Paris Toner) and Kennel Attendant (Miss Maddie Toner) did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Minardo, Sir Come Again and Had His Time collided soon after the start.  Minardo and Had His Time collided approaching the first turn.  Marley Griff shifted out on the home turn and collided with Minardo and Had His Time causing Minardo and Had His Time to race wide.

Shadow Giblet – New declared weight of 25.2kg, last raced at 24.1kg. 

Hardaway Gwennie was quick to begin.  Ella Grace was slow to begin.  Rev Up Chloe and Moon Dragon collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Rev Up Chloe was checked off Moon Dragon on the first turn and collided with Inga Daisy causing Rev Up Chloe and Inga Daisy to race wide on the home turn.  Ella Grace and Shadow Giblet collided on the home turn.  Inga Daisy contacted the running rail entering the home straight.  Rev Up Chloe raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Giuseppe Girvasi, the trainer of Inga Daisy (via telephone) after he left the course today without Stewards permission and without having the greyhound vetted following the event.  Stewards issued Mr. Girvasi with a warning pursuant to GAR 42 (2).  Mr. Girvasi returned to the Cranbourne Racing Club where Inga Daisy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left calf.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Lily Jane – Late scratching at 6.12pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left calf muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Starship Venus; a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Don‘t Try Me was slow to begin.  Bomber Blitz and Don’t Try Me collided soon after the start.  Inga Meg and Raw Panic collided soon after the start.  Blue Sky Limit and Pacific Rock collided approaching the first turn.  Pacific Rock was checked off Inga Meg on the first turn.  Blue Sky Limit and Bomber Blitz collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Starship Venus was checked off Raw Panic on the home turn.

Dundee Reactor – Late scratching at 6.01pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Peter Schofield was fined $100.

Aston Nicola was quick to begin.  Jebrynah Sol was slow to begin.  Get Sushi Carol and Our Elly Bye collided approaching the first turn causing Get Sushi Carol to contact the running rail.  Jebrynah Sol was checked off Redgum Flyer approaching the first turn.  Get Sushi Carol galloped on Redgum Flyer on the first turn.  Our Elly Bye galloped on My Comet on the first turn checking Our Elly Bye. Get Sushi Carol and Jebrynah Sol collided entering the home straight severely checking Get Sushi Carol.  Jebrynah Sol was checked off Redgum Flyer entering the home straight.

Get Sushi Carol underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to operational requirements.

Majestic Jay was slow to begin.  Just A Minute and Very Odd collided several times approaching the first turn.  Just A Minute, Majestic Jay and Big City Nights collided on the first turn checking Just A Minute.  Very Odd was checked off Madam Chelsea on the second turn.  Majestic Jay was checked off Very Odd entering the back straight.  Madam Chelsea galloped on Billy Bob Jordan entering the back straight.  Madam Chelsea and Billy Bob Jordan collided in the back straight.  Very Odd galloped on Crowdza Blest on the third turn checking Very Odd.  Big City Nights was checked off Madam Chelsea approaching the home turn.  Very Odd, BIlly Bob Jordan and Madam Chelsea collided entering the home straight.  Just A Minute and Big City Nights collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Sovereign Wind was quick to begin.  Callum’s Capers was slow to begin.  Why Not Lilah and Flying Silk collided approaching the first turn.  Delancy Bale was checked off Zipping Jazz approaching the first turn.  Why Not Lilah, Zipping Jazz and Zipping Loxley collided on the second turn severely checking Why Not Lilah.

Monaleen Flo– New declared weight of 28.5kg, last raced at 26.7kg. 

Monaleen Flo and Bean’s Multi collided several times soon after the start.  Monaleen Flo and Missy’s Hand collided approaching the first turn.  Monaleen Flo contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Princess Lace was checked off Aston Solar on the first turn.

Monaleen Flo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle and an abrasion on the left elbow.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Teddy Too – New declared weight of 32.1kg, last raced at 33.2kg. 

Galloping Speed was quick to begin.  Smooth Talker was slow to begin.  Galloping Speed and Rear View Mirror collided approaching the first turn.  Lightning Fury was checked off Smooth Talker approaching the first turn.  Teddy Too crossed out on the first turn, turned its head and collided with Rear View Mirror. Galloping Speed crossed out on the second turn. Smooth Talker was checked off Zipping Chew entering the back straight.  Galloping Speed was checked off Teddy Too in the back straight.  Teddy Too and Rear View Mirror collided on the home turn.

Galloping Speed underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Robert Conway regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr.  Conway, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second turn.

Teddy Too underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Shaun Hughes regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Teddy Too was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Hughes pleaded guilty to the charge, Teddy Too was found guilty and suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

It‘s Coming Home was quick to begin.  Jackie’s Lass was slow to begin.  Miss Button, Zipping Margo and Soldier collided soon after the start.  Zipping Margo and Miss Button collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Soldier was checked off Dundee Velvet on the first turn.  Jax raced wide in the home straight.

Bus Driver and Odessa Rock collided soon after the start severely checking Odessa Rock.  Bus Driver and Superior Jessica collided on the first turn.  Why Not Rose faltered approaching the home turn.

Why Not Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Love Heart was slow to begin.  Lee Will galloped on Majestic Mojo approaching the first turn checking Galloping Albi, severely checking Lee Will.  Majestic Mojo raced wide in the home straight.

Lee Will underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left deltoid muscle and an abrasion on the left stifle and left metacarpal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Urana Vieri – Late scratching at 5.55pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Colin Baker was fined $100.

Locked And Ready was quick to begin.  Stanley Boy was slow to begin.  Aston Lila crossed out approaching the first turn and collided with Stanley Boy severely checking Stanley Boy.  Soda Diamond, Esther Bale and Locked And Ready collided approaching the first turn checking Esther Bale.  Mighty Tracey and Esther Bale collided on the first turn.  Stanley Boy was checked off Mighty Tracey on the home turn.  Soda Diamond and Locked And Ready collided entering the home straight.  Aston Lila raced wide in the home straight.
