All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 29.0 degrees and the kennel temperature were 18.0 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Cool Militant was slow to begin. Lap To Far and Dark Pearl collided on the first turn. Afro Puff and Pressure Rising collided on the first turn. Yeva Bale and Cool Militant collided approaching the home turn, checking Cool Militant. Jaleesa Bale, Pressure Rising and Yeva Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Pressure Rising. Yeva Bale clipped the heels of Afro Puff on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Flight Risk - the winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Cawbourne Marto on Tuesday, 21 December 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Red Impact – Late scratching at 1:41 pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr Jeff Galea informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr Galea that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Reality Infrared and Cawbourne Marto collided soon after the start, checking Reality Infrared.  Rigg, Smoking Sophie and Mr. Holyfield collided on the first turn.  Mr. Holyfield clipped the heels of My Name's Karen approaching the home turn; checking My Name's Karen; severely checking Smoking Sophie, which stumbled.  Cawbourne Marto, Reality Infrared and My Name's Karen collided on the home turn; checking My Name's Karen and Cawbourne Marto.

Smoking Sophie underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Trainer, Mr A. Debattista who had two runners (Donny Rocks and Extreme Force) engaged in this event, advised Stewards that Donny Rocks was scratched at 6:30 am due to the meeting being heat affected.

Extreme Force, Boom Buster and Mad Brax collided approching the first turn, checking Boom Buster.  Extreme Force turned its head out and collided with Van Quibbler approaching the second turn; checking both greyhounds and causing them to race wide.

Extreme Force underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg quadriceps injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr A. Debattista regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the second turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Extreme Force was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Debattista pleaded guilty to the charge, Extreme Force was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Special Talent on Thursday, 25 November 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Mighty Marvin and Craftsman collided soon after the start.  Special Talent and Lembor collided on the first turn.  Lembor and Gunai Outlaw collided approaching the home turn; checking Gunai Outlaw, which collided with All Over Max.

Come On Aileen and Seabrook Stack collided on the first turn, checking Seabrook Stack.  Come On Aileen and Irene's A Star collided entering the back straight, checking Come On Aileen.  Aston Vogue lost ground on the home turn.

Aston Vogue underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Madam Maximus - the winner of the event.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) kennel attendants, J. Hooke and L. Barnes did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Whistling Bullet, Our Fabio and Ashby Swift collided on the first turn.  Trendy Universe and Whistling Bullet collided entering the back straight.  Our Fabio and Bakali George collided approaching the second turn, checking Bakali George.

Bakali George underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Feel The Rhythm and Way Up North collided approaching the first turn.  Compton Blazer, Circus Dancer and Pirate Lee collided on the first turn.  Aston Trump clipped the heels of Pirate Lee approaching the home turn.

Trainer, Mr S.Gibson who had two runners (Cornhill Tiger and Prince Cody) engaged in this event, advised Stewards that Prince Cody was scratched at 8:08 am am due to the meeting being heat affected.
