Steward's Report
My Gem - Late scratching at 3.02pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mrs. Margaret Campbell informed Stewards that she had had a medical issue. Stewards advised Mrs. Campbell that evidence will need to be submitted to the Stewards satisfaction, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter wIl be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Love A Collision and Carnivore were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Carnivore faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off.
Carnivore underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Little Kit - winner of the event.
