This event was rescheduled to start at 9:27pm.
Blackpool Bolt and Suvla Bay were quick to begin. Mahogany Storm was slow to begin.
Werina Express checked off Blackpool Bolt approaching the first turn. Werina Express, Uforo Bale and Negasi Bale collided on the first turn checking Uforo Bale, Negasi Bale and Aston Burton and severely checking Werina Express. Uforo Bale and Negasi Bale collided approaching the home turn. Werina Express raced wide in the home straight.
Werina Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor laceration to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
