Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Aston Samba was quick to begin. Rookie Mistake was slow to begin. Bonnie Goes Bang was checked off Rogue Empire soon after the start. Aston Samba and Flossie Ann collided soon after the start. Desley and Rogue Empire collided approaching the first turn checking Desley. Bonnie Goes Bang and Rogue Empire collided approaching the home turn severely checking Rogue Empire. Rookie Mistake raced wide in the home straight.
Rookie Mistake underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right groin. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Samba underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to the Catching Pen Attendant after an incident in the catching pen. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.
