Rookie Mistake raced wide in the home straight.

Rookie Mistake underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right groin.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Samba underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to the Catching Pen Attendant after an incident in the catching pen.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Dundee Reactor - New declared weight of 35.2kg, last raced at 33.3kg.

Dundee Reactor was quick to begin.  Wild Keyra galloped on I’m The Sandman on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Bella Dreamtime - Late Scratching at 09:01 when trainer Cooper Hayes reported the greyhound to have illness/Diarrhoea. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Rock It Jed - Late Scratching at 17:36 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposted. Trainer, Brett Mackie was fined $100.

Where’s The Bees was quick to begin.  Big Braveheart was checked off Lacie Rose approaching the first turn.  Zipping Utah and Big Braveheart collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Kelleigh Smith, the representative for Bella Dreamtime regarding the late scratching of the greyhound.  Stewards noted Ms. Smith’s comments.

Mr Daniel Gibbons was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Zimmer Bale pursuant to GAR 33.

Inuka was quick to begin.  Little Nellie was checked off Ripplebrook Rory on the first turn.  Inuka, Zimmer Bale and It’s Not Fun raced wide in the home straight.

Extreme Harriet and Tan Star collided on the first turn.

My Bro Joe was checked off Invictus Ethan approaching the first turn.

Dr. Knuckles was quick to begin.  General Payton, Maxwell Hammer and Kenji Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Maxwell Hammer, Kenji Bale and Maxwell collided on the first turn checking Maxwell Hammer, Kenji Bale, Maxwell and Bit Twisted.

It was noted that the muzzle of General Payton became dislodged during the running of the event.

Aston Nino was quick to begin.  Callum’s Capers was slow to begin.  Alecia and Dr. Rozzie collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Rozzie and Matt’s Hope collided approaching the first turn.  Bigsy and Matt’s Hope collided on the first turn checking Bigsy and Dr. Rozzie, severely checking Matt’s Hope which fell and subsequently pulled up.  Bigsy brushed the running rail on the first turn.

Matt’s Hope underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right metatarsal. No stand down period was imposed.

Avery was quick to begin.  Avery and Narcissus collided approaching the first turn.  Zachary and Avery collided on the first turn.  Zipping Chew was checked off Boom Out entering the home straight. Avery raced wide in the home straight.

Buster Giblet was slow to begin.  Typhoon Bolt and Dawn Spirit collided approaching the first turn. Buster Giblet galloped on Typhoon Bolt on the first turn severely checking Room To Boom which fell as a result.

Room To Boom underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stay At Home, On The Duck and Speedy Villain were slow to begin.  On The Duck and Aston Rocket collided soon after the start.  Stay At Home and On The Duck collided on the first turn checking On The Duck.  Aston Rocket galloped on On The Duck on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  On The Duck and Aston Rocket collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
