Weblec Ranger and It's A Brew collided soon after the start.  Specialty and Mepunga Freda collided soon after the start.  It's A Brew and Mepunga Freda collided approaching the first turn.  Specialty checked off Mepunga Freda approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Freda faultered and fell, colliding with Specialty on the first turn, causing Specialty to fall.  

Specialty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tibia and fibula fractures.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Maelynn Bale, Golden Quest and Aston Sunset collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Sunset.  Jezza Bence checked off Golden Quest approaching the second turn.  Golden Quest galloped on Arizona Eyes on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Do It was quick to begin.  Golden Ratio, Paua Of Oscar, Lakeview Cruiser and Zivon Bale were slow to begin.

Lots Of Chatter clipped the heels of Junk Food Junkie on the first turn.  Well Grounded checked off Lots Of Chatter entering the back straight checking Paua Of Oscar.  Well Grounded checked off Lots Of Chatter entering the home straight.

Major Giblet checked off Thunder Tears soon after the start. Zambora Alani checked off Do Good Davlin shortly after the start. Twisted Reality checked off Mepunga Katie approaching the second turn.  Greysynd Shock and Shima Glow collided on the second turn checking Greysynd Shock.  Zambora Alani checked off Twisted Reality when approaching the fourth turn.

Mepunga Felix underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right hind toe fracture.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Kenny The Brute checked off Mepunga Warrior soon after the start.  Venus Light crossed in approaching the first turn checking War Drum Express and severely checking Overflow Lisa.  Kenny The Brute, which was trailing, checked off Overflow Lisa on the first turn when it was losing ground.  Mepunga Warrior crossed in entering the front straight severely checking Venus Light causing Venus Light to race wide.  Mepunga Warrior, which was leading, commenced to lose ground from approaching the fifth turn and through the home turn to eventually finish last. My Father's Son and War Drum Express collided approaching the home turn.

Mepunga Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury, left and right shin soreness.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
