Bella Porscha was quick to begin.
Mt. View Ivy and Lacie Rose collided approaching the 300m mark checking Mt. View Ivy. Elswyk Sky faltered at the 250m mark and lost ground. Car Dealer and Bella Porscha collided approaching the 200m mark checking Bella Porscha. Lacie Rose checked off Bella Porscha approaching the home turn.
Elswyk Sky underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
