Steward's Report
This Event was rescheduled to start at 8.46pm due to a delay in Race 2.
Icarus Bale and Brecken Bale collided soon after the start. Roxy Ouzo, Master Avenger and Jet Legger collided approaching the first turn checking Icarus Bale. Icarus Bale checked off Jet Legger on the first turn. Roxy Ouzo, Brecken Bale and Master Avenger collided on the home turn severely checking Master Avenger, which lost ground as a result.
Master Avenger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have Bruising to the right hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Borg the trainer of Master Avenger regarding the greyhounds performance in this event. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Borg to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Master Avenger in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Immunity - the winner of the event.
