A pre-race sample was taken from Klopp.
Just The Marjen and Boes Bambino collided soon after the start. Klopp and Lady Baba collided soon after the start. Tinker China and Ingenuity collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark. Klopp crossed out at the 300m mark. Boes Bambino checked off Grumpy Al and collided with Klopp at the 250m mark. Boes Bambino crossed out at the 250m mark. Grumpy Al galloped on the heels of Lady Baba approaching the 150m mark causing Grumpy Al to fall. Ingenuity and Tinker China collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.
Lady Baba underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. Lady Baba was found to have a right elbow injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
