All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 24.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.0 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Higher Voltage was slow to begin.

Gar Gar crossed out soon after the start. Gar Gar galloped on the heels of Inter Angela at the 150m mark severely checking Higher Voltage and causing Gar Gar to fall. 

Gar Gar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right tibia. No stand down period was imposed.

Tower Bell was quick to begin.

Salut Sideways was slow to begin.

Sassy Sal – New declared weight of 25.9kg, last raced at 24.6kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Love To Deed.

Sassy Sal and Utah Bale collided at the 200m mark. Silver Harp and Sassy Sal collided at the 150m mark. Love To Deed checked off Utah Bale and collided with Sassy Sal at the 150m mark.

Go Jack and Starter's King collided soon after the start. So Sudden and Myall Hiker collided soon after the start. Man In Blue, So Sudden and Myall Hiker collided at the 300m mark and again at the 275m mark. So Sudden checked off Myall Hiker at the 250m mark. Go Jack and Starter's King collided at the 250m mark. Man In blue, So Sudden, Myall Hiker and Urbana Bale collided at the 200m mark. Urbana Bale checked off Yield at the 150m mark. Starter's King and Man In Blue collided at the 125m mark. Go Jack and Starter's King collided at the 125m mark. Urbana Bale and Yield collided at the 125m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gazer's Lane.

This race was delayed approximately 1 minute to hold for a Dalby gallops race.

Boes Bounty and Unroadworthy collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Boes Bounty and Unroadworthy crossed out approaching the 150m mark. Gazer's Lane and Balmoral collided at the 100m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Klopp.

Just The Marjen and Boes Bambino collided soon after the start. Klopp and Lady Baba collided soon after the start. Tinker China and Ingenuity collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark. Klopp crossed out at the 300m mark. Boes Bambino checked off Grumpy Al and collided with Klopp at the 250m mark. Boes Bambino crossed out at the 250m mark. Grumpy Al galloped on the heels of Lady Baba approaching the 150m mark causing Grumpy Al to fall. Ingenuity and Tinker China collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.

Lady Baba underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. Lady Baba was found to have a right elbow injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Grumpy Al underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Palmistry and She's A Looker collided soon after the start. Straight Shooter and Car Dealer collided at the 275m mark. Car Dealer crossed out at the 200m mark.

Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 27(1) to Mr Troy Dorrington after the greyhound, Crown Ella escaped shortly after leaving the kennels. After hearing submissions from Mr Dorrington, a warning was issued in accordance with GAR 27(1).

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Toyed with trainer Mr. Chris Armstrong and noted his comments.

Rev Up Axel was slow to begin.

Jerry Buzzard galloped on the heels of Exford Norm approaching the 100m mark causing Exford Norm to stumble.

Big Lug was slow to begin.

Demon Sal and Blazing Sal collided soon after the start. Big Lug crossed out at the 250m mark. Elusive Kel, Demon Sal and Silver Jett collided approaching the 100m mark.

Shady Talks crossed in soon after the start and collided with Aston Roxy. Aston Roxy, Elusive Bec and Ramona collided soon after the start. Mr. Neat and Zero were slow to begin.
