High Action checked off Hannele Bale approaching the first turn, checking Spring Bjorn; severely checking Maximum Zeal and High Action and causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Kanji Giant checked off Hannele Bale on the first turn.

Maximum Zeal underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

High Action underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg shoulder muscle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger's Twenty and Ollie collided on the second turn, checking Tiger's Twenty.  Dutch Impact and El Cazador collided approaching the home turn.  

Tiger's Twenty underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a tail base injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Ward regarding the racing manners of Tiger's Twenty in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Ward, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Mia's Hand was quick to begin.

Nevaeh Bale and Who Did That collided soon after the start.  Slingshot Sudoku and Mia's Hand collided approaching the home turn.  Who Did That checked off Mia's Hand entering the home straight.  Slingshot Sudoku shifted out in the home straight and collided with Mia's Hand.
