Together We Can – Late scratching at 12.37 pm when Mr J. Sharp reported the greyhound to have a back injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1 minute to hold for Melton Harness.
Tommy's No Angel and Henry The Hawk was quick to begin. Major Lighting was slow to begin.
Tommy's No Angel, Henry The Hawk and Snowy's Sister collided approaching the first turn checking Henry The Hawk. In Lights checked off Yaala Express on the first turn severely checking both In Lights and Major Lighting. In lights and Major Lighting collided in the home straight.
