Steward's Report
It's Only Money and Compliance were quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking It's Only Money. Weblec Blazer and Tiggerlong Nibel were slow to begin. Slingshot Jonesy and Zippy Tesla collided approaching the first turn. Weblec Blazer and Tiggerlong Nibel collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Weblec Blazer. Xavien Bale and Titan Blazer collided on the first turn. It's Only Money and Slingshot Jonesy collided entering the back straight and again in the back straight checking It's Only Money which lost ground as a result. Slingshot Jonesy and Zippy Tesla collided approaching the home turn.
It's Only Money was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer Mr M Vaughan was queried regarding the performance and betting fluctuations. Mr Vaughan explained that the greyhound was inexperienced and suffered some interference in the run. Mr Vaughan stated he was surprised at the market move and did not support the greyhound.
Post-race blood and urine samples were taken from Zippy Tesla (1st), post-race urine samples were taken from Compliance (2nd) and Titan Blazer (3rd).
