All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.3 degrees and the kennel temperature was 20.6 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Mr D Chapman, the representative of Aston Wonder was issued a warning in that he failed to ensure a catcher was engaged pursuant to GAR 48.

Storm Stroller and Wild One Mikado were quick to begin.  Aston Wonder and Zipping James was slow to begin.  Wild One Mikado and Jigglypuff collided soon after the start checking Jigglypuff causing Jigglypuff and Starfleet to collide.  Aston Wonder and Starfleet collided approaching the first turn.  Chillout Cookie checked off Jigglypuff on the first turn.  Aston Wonder checked off Chillout Cookie approaching the second turn.  Chillout Cookie and Starfleet collided entering the back straight.  Jigglypuff and Wild One Mikado collided on the third turn.  Wild One Mikado and Zipping James collided entering the home straight.  Aston Wonder checked off Chillout Cookie in the home straight.

Tynslee Bale was quick to begin.  Tynslee Bale and Vardan Bale collided soon after the start.  Indy Fido and Boston Garden collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Vardan Bale and Providence Bale collided approaching the first turn.  My Boy Rockin' and Rio Baskin collided on the first turn.  Indy Fido, Boston Garden, Vardan Bale and Providence Bale collided on the first turn checking Vardan Bale.  Indy Fido and Boston Garden collided approaching the second turn.  My Boy Rockin' and Rio Baskin collided entering the back straight checking Rio Baskin, Providence Bale and Indy Fido.  Indy Fido, Vardan Bale and Rio Baskin collided approaching the third turn.  Boston Garden checked off My Boy Rockin' approaching the home turn.  Boston Garden and Providence Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Providence Bale checked off Vardan Bale on the home turn.

Fernando's Quest contacted the running rail on the second turn.  Valeska Bale and Weblec Scout collided approaching the third turn.  Greysynd Shock and Dusty Lyn collided on the fourth turn.  Weblec Scout checked off Radek Bale approaching the home turn.  Weblec Scout and Super Marli collided entering the home straight.  Aston Sunset and Fernando's Quest collided in the home straight.

Fernando's Quest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Loxton Bale and Nikoli Bale were quick to begin.  Gracie Bale stumbled at the start.  Fabroni Bale was slow to begin and raced wide throughout the event.  Plan Ahead, Gracie Bale and Shima Jake collided soon after the start.  Plan Ahead and Gracie Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Gracie Bale causing Gracie Bale to contact the running rail.  Shima Jake and Tiberia Bale collided on the first turn.  Plan Ahead, Shima Jake and Tiberia Bale collided approaching the second turn.  Shima Jake and Tiberia Bale collided on the second turn.  Loxton Bale checked off Nikoli Bale entering the back straight.  Loxton Bale and Tiberia Bale collided on the third turn checking Tiberia Bale.  Shima Jake and Tiberia Bale collided approaching the home turn.

Fabriola Ximenez, Hurricane Harry, Emani Bale and Aston Velvet were quick to begin.  Fabriola Ximenez, Hurricane Harry, Emani Bale, Aston Velvet and Jepara collided on the first turn checking Jepara.  Arizona Eyes, My Father's Son, Whakahoro and Emani Bale collided on the first turn checking Emani Bale causing Emani Bale to lose ground.  Fabriola Ximenez and Aston Velvet collided entering the front straight.  Whakahoro and Jepara collided entering the front straight.  Arizona Eyes and Whakahoro collided on the second turn.  Arizona Eyes and Jepara collided entering the back straight.  My Father's Son checked off Emani Bale on the fourth turn.  Arizona Eyes visibly eased on the home turn and marred Hurricane Harry, checking Whakahoro.

Arizona Eyes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to representative Mr P. Riley regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Arizona Eyes was charged with marring. Mr Riley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Arizona Eyes was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Yozo Bale and Indy Ghost collided soon after the start.  Spring Driven and Earn The Answers collided soon after the start.  Lala Kiwi, Indy Ghost and Americano Miss collided soon after the start.  Carry On Angel, Indy Ghost and Earn The Answers collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Driven causing Spring Driven and Americano Miss to collide.  Yozo Bale, Indy Ghost and Earn The Answers collided on the first turn checking Lala Kiwi causng Lala Kiwi and Daph's Ascend to collide, checking Daph's Ascend and Americano Miss.  Yozo Bale and Earn The Answers collided approaching the second turn.  Yozo Bale checked off Earn The Answers approaching the third turn.  Lala Kiwi checked off Yozo Bale approaching the home turn.  Daph's Ascend, Lala Kiwi and Indy Ghost collided on the home turn.  Lala Kiwi and Americano Miss collided entering the home straight.

Yozo Bale was vetted following the event at the Trainer's request and was found to have a cut tail tip, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs S Grenfell, the representative of Yozo Bale was issued a warning in that she negligently presented the greyhound to race without its approved gear (bandage), pursuant to GAR 86 (o).

Starlight Tyson and Aston Lavinia collided soon after the start.  Aces Are Trumps and Zipping Hunter collided soon after the start.  Wizardry Magic and Eat My Dust collided entering the front straight.  Wizardry Magic and Zipping Hunter collided on the second turn.  Gypsy Toowoomba and Eat My Dust collided approaching the third turn and again in the back straight.  Starlight Tyson visibly eased on the fourth turn causing Starlight Tyson, Jezza Bence and Aston Lavinia to collide.  Eat My Dust and Aston Lavinia collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Lavinia and Wizardry Magic collided in the home straight.

Starlight Tyson was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 8.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the left foreleg and an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative Ms. K. Cottrell regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the fourth turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Starlight Tyson was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Cottrell pleaded not guilty to the charge, Starlight Tyson was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

It's Only Money and Compliance were quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking It's Only Money.  Weblec Blazer and Tiggerlong Nibel were slow to begin.  Slingshot Jonesy and Zippy Tesla collided approaching the first turn.  Weblec Blazer and Tiggerlong Nibel collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Weblec Blazer.  Xavien Bale and Titan Blazer collided on the first turn.  It's Only Money and Slingshot Jonesy collided entering the back straight and again in the back straight checking It's Only Money which lost ground as a result.  Slingshot Jonesy and Zippy Tesla collided approaching the home turn.

It's Only Money was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Trainer Mr M Vaughan was queried regarding the performance and betting fluctuations. Mr Vaughan explained that the greyhound was inexperienced and suffered some interference in the run. Mr Vaughan stated he was surprised at the market move and did not support the greyhound. 

Post-race blood and urine samples were taken from Zippy Tesla (1st), post-race urine samples were taken from Compliance (2nd) and Titan Blazer (3rd).

Sambar Chief was slow to begin.  Chop Scotch, Tiggerlong Jet, Ripplebrook Glen and Daph's Zac collided soon after the start.  Daph's Zac and Inka Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Tiggerlong Jet and Ripplebrook Glen collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Glen.  Langfield Bale and Daph's Zac collided approaching the second turn checking Tiggerlong Jet.  Langfield Bale checked off Daph's Zac on the second turn.  Ripplebrook Glen and Inka Bale collided in the back straight.

Mr C. Hayes was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Where's The Bees, pursuant to GAR 33.
