Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Masika.
Deedee’s Charm, Tan Star and Aston Profit were quick to begin. Deedee’s Charm and Tan Star collided approaching the first turn. Masika, Spring Driven and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Driven. Tekki Nibbles and Zipping Tiffany collided approaching the first turn. Masika was checked off Bag Of Tricks on the first turn. Deedee’s Charm was checked off Tan Star on the home turn. Masika crossed to the outside on the home turn causing Masika and Spring Driven to race wide.
Masika underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 5day stand down period was imposed.
