Lady Lily Hook was quick to begin.  Dainty Leigh was slow to begin.  Magic Changes and Night Patrol collided several times soon after the start. Night Patrol was checked off Magic Changes approaching the first turn.  Night Patrol was checked off Dainty Leigh entering the home straight.  Sir Marley and Dainty Leigh raced wide in the home straight.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 40 seconds while the starter inspected the inside of the starting boxes.

Compliance and Rock It Jed were quick to begin.  Know Ethics was slow to begin.  Summer Daze and Know Ethics collided approaching the first turn.  Salut Sideways was checked off Summer Daze on the first turn.  Rock It Jed and My Mate Lucas collided several times from the first turn to the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Flywheel Bandit was checked off Van Quibble entering the home straight.

My Mate Lucas underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Samba and My Name’s Jock were quick to begin.  Gyarados was slow to begin.  Queen Amarok and Surprising collided soon after the start.  Aston Samba was checked off Gyarados approaching the home turn.  Thunder Dash was checked off Gyarados entering the home straight.

Milwaukee Miss was quick to begin.  Shelbourne Star and Kroos were slow to begin.  Shelbourne Star was checked off Mia’s Hand on the first turn.  Kroos and Shelbourne Star raced wide in the home straight. 

Inuka was quick to begin.  Scuba Steve was slow to begin.  Top Faith and Ironclad collided several times approaching the first turn.  Scuba Steve visibly eased on the first turn and subsequently pulled up on the home turn.

Scuba Steve underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. B. Mackie declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Mackie regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Scuba Steve was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Mackie pleaded guilty to the charge, Scuba Steve was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Balbina Bale was quick to begin.  Simon Says was slow to begin.  Kanji Bale, Crackerjack Carr and Spring Poldark collided soon after the start.  Invictus Ethan was checked off Kenji Bale approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Roy was checked off Balbina Bale on the first turn.  Crackerjack Carr was checked off Cosmic Roy on the home turn.  Crackerjack Carr and Simon Says raced wide in the home straight.

Maxwell Hammer and King Of All were quick to begin.  Dwarshuis was slow to begin.  Nera Enough stumbled on the first turn and lost ground.  King Of All was checked off Zipping Chandler entering the home straight.  Leeky Lee and Dwarshuis raced wide in the home straight.

Nera Enough underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sunnyside Pride. 

Got The Torque and Dr. Tucker were quick to begin.  Sunnyside Pride, Joyful and Second Pick collided approaching the first turn checking Joyful.  Got The Torque and Dr. Mumma collided on the first turn checking Dr. Mumma.  Second Pick was checked off Dr. Mumma approaching the home turn.  Sunnyside Pride crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Second Pick and Flywheel Bella.  Sunnyside Pride raced wide in the home straight.

Gold Driller and Masked Avenger were quick to begin.  Gold Driller, Zachary, You Ember and Masked Avenger collided soon after the start checking You Ember.  Hot Shaynna and Gold Driller collided approaching the first turn.  Hot Shaynna was checked off Gold Driller on the home turn.  You Ember and Fusion Spy collided on the home turn.  Gold Driller and Zachary collided in the home straight. You Ember raced wide in the home straight.

Zachary – Was ordered to wear an anti-aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 71A.

Queen Kathleen was quick to begin.  Blazing Penny was slow to begin.  Blazing Penny and Rizzo collided soon after the start.  One’s Obsession and Action Girl collided approaching the first turn. Tokyo Ted and Daddy’s Magic collided approaching the first turn.  Tokyo Ted, Daddy’s Magic and Blazing Penny collided on the first turn checking Daddy’s Magic.  Blazing Penny and Rizzo collided on the first turn.  One’s Obsession was checked off Queen Kathleen on the home turn checking Action Girl and Pay The Prince.

A post race sample was taken from Queen Kathleen - winner of the event.

Brother Bearing, Hot Diesel and Nella Ruslie collided soon after the start checking Hot Diesel. Cashton Bale, Brother Bearing and El Fernanda collided on the first turn checking Brother Bearing and El Fernanda.  Brother Bearing galloped on Nella Ruslie approaching the home turn.  El Fernanda and Brother Bearing collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Masika. 

Deedee’s Charm, Tan Star and Aston Profit were quick to begin.  Deedee’s Charm and Tan Star collided approaching the first turn.  Masika, Spring Driven and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Driven.  Tekki Nibbles and Zipping Tiffany collided approaching the first turn.  Masika was checked off Bag Of Tricks on the first turn. Deedee’s Charm was checked off Tan Star on the home turn.  Masika crossed to the outside on the home turn causing Masika and Spring Driven to race wide.

Masika underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 5day stand down period was imposed.
