Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings and observed social distance requirements that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rio Margarita was quick to begin.

Red Impact checked off Dr. Hayley soon after the start.  Lot Of Poise checked off Rio Margarita approaching the first turn and collided with Tidy Up Girl.  Aston Zulu and Tidy Up Girl collided entering the back straight.  Aston Zulu checked off Dr. Hayley on the third turn.  Dr. Hayley tired over the concluding stages.

Dr. Hayley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a laceration to the right front foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Red Impact, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Calix Bale was slow to begin.

Mepunga Hayles, Alert and Jumping Jack collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  Calix Bale checked off Willy Can Do approaching the first turn.  Willy Can Do and Jumping Jack collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Calix Bale and Alert collided on the third turn checking Alert. 

Affair Bit underwent a veterinary examination at kennelling and was passed fit to race. The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing with Mr. Martin Hanke and noted their comments.

Hugs And Kisses, Tiggerlong Water and Affair Bit collided on the first turn checking Tiggerlong Water, Affair Bit and Fairytale Bliss.  Tiggerlong Water and Affair Bit collided approaching the second turn.  Tiggerlong Water checked off Hugs And Kisses on the third turn checking Affair Bit.  Lonely Lisa and Ishmy Ruby collided on the third turn.  Lonely Lisa, Ishmy Ruby and Hugs And Kisses collided in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Premier Slice - winner of the event. 

Arcobaleno, Omaha Bale, Pinjarra Bale and Radical Rex collided soon after the start.  Tzar's Ghost and Arcobaleno collided on the first turn.  Okay Karen and Omaha Bale collided on the first turn.  Tzar's Ghost checked off Arcobaleno approaching the second turn.  Arcobaleno checked off Pinjarra Bale on the second turn.  

Uforo Bale was quick to begin.  Tobin Frost was slow to begin.

Roxy Ouzo and Kenji Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Yalena Bale and Roxy Ouzo collided on the first turn checking Roxy Ouzo.  Kenji Bale galloped on Roxy Ouzo on the third turn.  Yalena Bale checked off Uforo Bale in the home straight.  Tobin Frost and Uforo Bale collided approaching the winning post.  

Fabriola Ximenez – Late scratching at 10.52am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs Andrea Dailly was fined $100.

El Cazador was slow to begin.

Berkel Boy and Grace's Spirit collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  El Cazador and Grace's Spirit collided approaching the second turn.  Berkel Boy and Grace's Spirit collided approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.

Sizzling Sam was slow to begin.

Trending Rookie and Call Me Buster collided on the first turn checking Call Me Buster.  Dundee Ember and Golden Ratio collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Golden Ratio checked off Nimble Blaze on the fourth turn.  Trending Rookie and Americano Miss collided in the home straight causing Americano Miss to fall.

Americano Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder and left chest muscle injuries.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fernando's Quest and Call Me Chloe collided approaching the first turn.  Foxy Bourbski, Joffa's Liberty and Fernando's Quest collided approaching the second turn checking all three greyhounds.

Providence Bale was slow to begin.

Scorching Sun and Zippy Zenvo collided soon after the start.  Invictus Jaxson, Gintoki Bale and Oberon Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Gintoki Bale.  Gintoki Bale and Oberon Bale collided on the first turn checking Gintoki Bale.  Oberon Bale tired over the concluding stages.

Oberon Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Brady's Shout and Chill Out Webby collided soon after the start.  Brady's Shout checked off Chill Out Webby approaching the first turn.  Hendrik Bale checked off Rainbow City on the first turn.  Rainbow City checked off Keybow Sally on the first turn.  Skibo Rebel and Chill Out Webby collided on the first turn.  Hendrik Bale and Rainbow City collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Bernard Courts regarding the undue delay in boxing Keybow Sally in this event.  A warning was issued to Mr. Courts pursuant to GAR 51(9).

She's So Kind was quick to begin.

Inka Bale, My Dewana Penny and Dreamers Lie collided in the front straight checking My Dewana Penny.  My Dewana Penny and Dreamers Lie collided approaching the first turn.  Zylon Bale, Inka Bale and Dreamers Lie collided on the first turn checking Inka Bale and Dreamers Lie.

Blazer Glory underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Brendan Pursell regarding the greyhound's performance in the back straight and on the third turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Blazer Glory must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
