Dr. Mumma was quick to begin.
Sunnyside Pride checked off Bigsy soon after the start. Supercomputer checked off Lakeview Max on the second turn checking Supercomputer. Supercomputer and Bigsy collided on the second turn checking Supercomputer severely checking Bigsy. Sunnyside Pride checked off Supercomputer on the second turn. Got The Blues checked off Bowie on the second turn.
Bigsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Lakeview Max - the winner of the event.
