Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Borradale, the trainer of Bowler's Name regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Bowler's Name was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Borradale pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bowler's Name was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zardora - Late scratching at 17:02 pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Sweet Life and Bonnie Gem collided on the first turn checking Bonnie Gem.  Know Ethics, Bonnie Gem and Desley collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds.  Dr. Lexie crossed out in the home straight and raced wide.  Paige's Diamond raced wide in the home straight.

My Mate Damien and Billy Bob Jordan were quick to begin.

Rookie Mistake and Lacie Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Hoppy Bob checked off Flowerpot Fox on the first turn.  Lacie Rose and Rookie Mistake collided on the home turn.   Just Needed Time raced wide throughout the event.  Hoppy Bob and My Mate Damien collided in the home straight.

Bigsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
