Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings and observed social distance requirements that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Bowler's Name, Athena and Dr. Esther collided approaching the first turn checking Athena and Dr. Esther. Ballistic Breeze and Athena collided on the first turn; Ballistic Breeze fell as a result. Bowler's Name visibly eased on the first turn. Lady Wendy Hook checked off Bowler's Name on the first turn. Art Of Life, Bowler's Name and Flossie Ann raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Borradale, the trainer of Bowler's Name regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Bowler's Name was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Borradale pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bowler's Name was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
