Zipping Utah was slow to begin. Man In Blue, Karlee, Meet Winston and Gotham Baroness collided soon after the start. Karlee and Meet Winston collided approaching the first turn checking Meet Winston. Zipping Utah and Rogue Empire collided on the first turn. Zipping Utah galloped on Gotham Baroness approaching the home turn. Zipping Utah was checked off Man In Blue on the home turn. Meet Winston was checked off Zipping Utah entering the home straight. Jeza You Beauty and Gotham Baroness collided in the home straight severely checking Jeza You Beauty.
Jeza You Beauty underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
