Always Diamond - Late scratching at 4.58pm due to weight variation. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. M. Ferguson was fined $100.
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Browning Bale with Ms. Tammy Kennedy Harris and noted her comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Brandeen Jerry.
Shen Bree Rose and Chanel Miss collided soon after the start. Brandeen Jerry and Browning Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.
Browning Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in both shins. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
