Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Wichita Bale with Ms. Tammy Kennedy Harris and noted her comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hurricane Harry.
Mo Slater and Defined Benefit collided soon after the start. Wichita Bale and That’ll Do Neo collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking That’ll Do Neo. Mo Slater and Dottie Cotton collided approaching the first turn.
That’ll Do Neo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in both shins and an injured right sesamoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
