Car Dealer checked off Neirbo soon after the start. Blazin' Jewel checked off Aston Artemis soon after the start. Zambora Tara and Mega Heist collided approaching the 300m mark. Aston Artemis and Anita's Special collided approaching the 250m mark checking Aston Artemis. Zambora Tara and Anita's Special collided approaching the 200m mark checking Zambora Tara. Mega Heist and Car Dealer collided at the 100m mark. Blazin' Jewel and Zambora Tara collided at the 50m mark.
Aston Artemis underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a left sesamoid and groin injuries. A14 day stand down period was imposed.
