Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks (indoors), observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Alert was quick to begin.  Thunder Strike, Beastly Boy and Aston Ziebell were slow to begin.

Purnia Bale crossed in soon after the start and collided with Elli's My Girl.  Elli's My Girl and Tidy Up Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Elli's My Girl checked off Tidy Up Girl and collided with Beastly Boy on the first turn checking Elli's My Girl.  Elli's My Girl and Thunder Strike collided on the second turn checking Elli's My Girl.  Alert and Tidy Up Girl collided on the second turn, in the back straight and approaching the third turn.  Purnia Bale checked off Alert on the third turn checking Thunder Strike which raced wide as a result.

Trojan Package and Panyam Bale were quick to begin.  Patriotic and Pot Luck Chuck were slow to begin.

Pot Luck Chuck and Omaha Bale collided soon after the start.  Trojan Package and Story Unfolds collided approaching the first turn.  Story Unfolds and Tiggerlong Car collided on the first turn.  Patriotic checked off Omaha Bale on the first turn.  Omaha Bale checked off Tiggerlong Car on the first turn.  Story Unfolds and Tiggerlong Car collided on the second turn.  Panyam Bale checked off Sarah's Shout on the second turn. 

Flying Hercules and Lead The Way collided soon after the start checking Lead The Way.  Flying Hercules and Tiggerlong Nibel collided soon after the start checking Flying Hercules.  Arcobaleno and Unique Faith collided approaching the first turn.  Flying Hercules and Tiggerlong Nibel collided on the first turn.  Arcobaleno checked off Bonnie Too Good on the second turn.  Tiggerlong Nibel and Unique Faith collided entering the back straight checking Arcobaleno and Tiggerlong Nibel.  Flying Hercules checked off Arcobaleno entering the home straight.

Tiggerlong Nibel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cracked nail on the left hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Twisted Reality and Aces Are Trumps collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Aces Are Trumps, Jarick Bale and Darra Onyx collided on the second turn checking Aces Are Trumps and Mepunga Felix.  Twisted Reality checked off Darra Onyx on the fourth turn.  Aces Are Trumps checked off Mepunga Felix on the fourth turn. 

Storm To Burn – Late scratching at 7.10am when Trainer Mr Wayne Gray reported the greyhound to have tonsilitis (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ask For More and Meehan Tommy collided soon after the start.  Ishmy Ruby, High Action and Ask For More collided in the front straight checking Ishmy Ruby and High Action.   Ishmy Ruby and High Action collided approaching the first turn checking Ishmy Ruby.  High Action contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  High Action and Ishmy Ruby collided on the second turn checking High Action.  Harrell Bale and Meehan Tommy collided approaching the third turn checking Meehan Tommy.  Ishmy Ruby and Meehan Tommy collided on the home turn.  Harrell Bale checked off Zambora Richie approaching the winning post. 

High Action underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Representative Mr Shane Jack requested an early race endorsement for Going Alright. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Going Alright will compete in early races until further notice.

Paper Plane and Blue Stingray collided approaching the first turn checking Paper Plane.  Paint Peeler galloped on Grey Not Blue entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Paint Peeler checked off Blue Stingray approaching the third turn.  Blue Stingray, Stellar Rising and Pretty Mouse collided on the third turn.  Stellar Rising and Pretty Mouse collided on the home turn.  Blue Stingray and Grey Not Blue collided in the home straight.

Fancy Lily – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Cranbourne on 8 November 2021. Fancy Lily was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to befree from injury. Fancy Lily was Cleared to race.

Brady's Shout – Marring - Field of 4, Distance 525m, Weight 38.2 kg, Box 5, Placed 3rd, Time Run 30.34 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks.
