Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks (indoors), observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A sample was unable to be obtained from Cleo’s Neo upon arrival at the course.  A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Dottie Cotton, Night Patrol and Cleo’s Neo were slow to begin.  Defined Benefit and Three Wishes collided soon after the start.  Sandgroper was checked off Defined Benefit approaching the first turn. Cryptic Vixen and Dottie Cotton collided on the first turn.  Cryptic Vixen galloped on Cleo’s Neo approaching the home turn.

Indigo was slow to begin.  Magical Doll and Aston Jive collided soon after the start.  Memphis Rock crossed in approaching the first turn checking Little Didak and Memphis Rock.  Amlin Fidget and Little Didak collided on the first turn checking Amlin Fidget and Magical Doll, severely checking Little Didak.  Memphis Rock and Indigo collided on the first turn checking Indigo.

Gotham Baroness was slow to begin.  Deep Witts and Amlin Emperor collided approaching the first turn.  Red Spur Flyer and Zelko Spolly collided approaching the first turn checking Zelko Spolly.  Red Spur Flyer was checked off Amlin Emperor on the first turn.  Weeona Jack was checked off Gotham Baroness on the first turn. Deep Witts and Amlin Emperor collided approaching the home turn. Rapid Voyage,  Weeona Jack and Thunder King collided on the home turn.  Zelko Spolly and Thunder King collided in the home straight.  Zelko Spolly marred Thunder King in the home straight.

Zelko Spolly underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Spoljaric, the trainer of Zelko Spolly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Zelko Spolly was charged with marring.  Mr. Spoljaric pleaded guilty to the charge, Zelko Spolly was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Ariarne was quick to begin.  Pechey’s Girl and Darnum Diva collided approaching the first turn. Aston Ariarne crossed out on the first turn and checked off Zambora Alani, colliding with Sunstruck, checking Pechey’s Girl, Darnum Diva and Zambora Alani, severely checking Aston Ariarne and Sunstruck. Pechey’s Girl and Darnum Diva collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Orca and What Could Be collided several times in the back straight.  Orca and What Could Be collided several times in the home straight.

Orca underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Nagy, the trainer of Orca regarding the greyhound’s performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Orca must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Darnum Diva underwent a post race veterinary examination after the greyhound fell after the winning post, no apparent injury was reported.

Tiger Isla was quick to begin.  Oda May was slow to begin.  Lady Rozina Hook and Karlee collided approaching the first turn.  Surprising and Ambitious collided on the first turn.  Surprising was checked off Oda May on the first turn.  Ambitious was checked off Surprising approaching the home turn.  Vesna Spolly and Karlee collided in the home straight.

Avery was quick to begin.  Moroka Magic and Callum’s Capers were slow to begin.  Bourne Burner and Select Charlie collided on the first turn.  Clean Slate and Variation collided approaching the home turn.  Callum’s Capers, Avery, Moroka Magic and Select Charlie raced wide in the home straight.  Clean Slate and Variation collided approaching the winning post.

Chilly Bin was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Queen Kathleen and Impending collided soon after the start.  Ivy Isobel and Call Me Harvey collided approaching the first turn.  Ivy Isobel, Call Me Harvey and Impending collided approaching the first turn.  Call Me Harvey and Chilly Bin collided approaching the first turn checking Call Me Harvey.  Call Me Harvey was checked off Impending on the first turn checking Call Me Harvey.

Strict Liability was quick to begin.  Isolating was slow to begin.  Nera Enough was checked off Scorching Sun approaching the first turn causing Scorching Sun and Dundee Hornet to collide. Dundee Hornet was checked off Scorching Sun on the first turn checking Isolating.  Nera Enough, Dundee Hornet and Bigsy raced wide in the home straight.  Flying Surprise and Strict Liability collided in the home straight.

Isolating underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Click And Win was slow to begin.  Star Night, Lady Loch and Miss Demonica collided approaching the first turn checking Lady Loch which fell as a result checking Click And Win.  Magic Voyage was checked off Simon Says approaching the home turn.  Deedee’s Charm and Magic Voyage raced wide in the home straight.

Lady Loch underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Boom Out.

Apache Runner, Boom Out and More Speed were slow to begin.  Rizzo, Main Force and Apache Runner collided soon after the start.  Boom Out and Murt Law collided approaching the first turn. Apache Runner was checked off Rizzo on the first turn and again entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Airly Cleaner upon arrival at the course.

Esfahan, Aston Rocket and Airly Cleaner collided on the first turn checking Airly Cleaner.  Two Phones and Kiss Your Lips collided on the first turn.  Esfahan was checked off Two Phones entering the home straight. Kiss Your Lips and Two Phones collided in the home straight.  Aston Rocket and Esfahan collided approaching the winning post.

Ms. L. Davis requested an early race endorsement for Banjo Glitter.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to the race by the on-track Veterinarian.  Banjo Glitter will compete in early races until further notice.
